Subjective value theory or exploitation of Mr. Obamas work?

I wonder how "socially necessary" Obama's labor was when producing that half-eaten waffle... :D

I don't know, Dude's a good speaker...He actually has me excited about his socialized Universal Health Care plan.

I mean, just look at all the social benefit I can achieve over and above the $25 dollars a week I was spending to selfishly provide just for myself. There are millions of Americans that not only can't work themselves out of poverty because of the Culture of Corruption but also are unable to provide their poor, uneducated children with proper medical care so they can grow up and become healthy drains on the productive members of society citizens who can further the cause of Democracy.

Won't somebody, please, think of the children....

Obama oratory porn is what I call it.

This bugs the crap out of me.  I ask people to tell me one policy, one single reform of his that will make the Great Society work.  It's like wrestling Jell-o.

Having said that, I would be extremely surprised if he wins the Electoral College, much less the popular vote.  There just aren't enough yuppies, college students and blacks to give him a majority.

Speaking of fluff, here's McCain's latest speech:

The thing that makes me the most sick of this campaign is that 90 percent of the talk is about gossip.  Not just the scandals, but the poll numbers and "what they will do next" and what the party is thinking at any given moment or what will be the "realistic VP" to carry this or that demographic.  Add on top of that the softball questions about their families, their "history" (not voting history, but just quantity of terms in office), speculation about race/gender and "readiness to serve", what they think about the pledge/flag lapels, grilling them over their supposed dedication to the establishment (easily to be hit out of the park with vague "America is great (but needs to get better because of me)" soundbites), etc. etc. etc.  All day long.  It's pathetic and more and more like a sporting event as the days go on.  Virtually everyone on the blogs are prophesizing what these shlubs will do next.  No break down of policy. Just obsession with the busy-ness and decision making of the election process itself.

I want to laugh. I want to cry. I despair at the thought of Obama winning. I despair period. Its ultimately depressing to watch people foam at the mouth. I shake at the core to see socialism this deeply entrenched.

That's a great post, bro.  But here's the reality:  working class whites will crawl over glass and vote for McCain's corpse if they have to.  Michelle Obama isn't going to be able to keep her mouth shut and Obama is actually a deer in the headlights when he's off his script.

At least a McCain presidency will make for good TV when he's banging his shoe on the press podium and screaming for the 843rd Bomb Wing to attack the Soviets.  Maybe there'll even be a military coup by an old-fashioned, blue-blooded general of iron will who halts deficit spending to rescue the currency and tells all the factions in the wars we've started everywhere that the US is now a strict neutral.  Ah shucks, I'm dreaming about Santiago and Madrid again.

You sir are a witty one - that was a great reply. You implicate dreaming of 'paradise' correct? That is rather hilarious. Brightens my mood for this morning =)

At least Obama will inherit a failing economy, and when Americans see the economy under Obama(especially with the GW BS) they will say "Mercantalism-Imperialism was the right choice, oh how I was wrong" Unless Barr can get in the debates and tell people there is an alternative to government. But most likely the media will stick with Obama even if he is killing toddlers beacause he is the first black president and the first black president couldn't possibly be bad.

Read this quote from a youtube commentor:

    antiwar100 (3 weeks ago)
I fainted when I learned that my government lies to me, daily debases my currency, funds pointless dictatorships around the world, tries to be the policeman of the world and funds this through borrowing and inflation, tortures and denies habeas corpus to suspected terrorists, and tries to run the economy much like how the Soviet Union ran it. Did I faint at an Obama rally? Of course not, Obama doesn't want change. I fainted when I learned about the ideas of Ron Paul. Spread the message!!!

It almost sounds as if Obama's campaign managers watched the 700 Club and changed the words "Jesus Christ" to "Barack Obama"!!!!!!

    Disturbing is an understatement.
