"I will assure that we will have an antitrust division that is serious about pursuing cases," the Illinois senator told an audience of mostly senior citizens in Oregon.

"There are going to be areas, in the media for example where we're seeing more and more consolidation, that I think (it) is legitimate to ask...is the consumer being served?"

He'll have to deal with a Republican minority that suddenly will be screaming about limited government and free markets.  He'll also have to deal with Republican governors and statehouses.  Most importantly he'll have to deal with his Wall Street patrons who are not about to pony up for the massive transfer of wealth required to socialize medicine AND bail out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac AND the UN, the World Bank and Sallie Mae AND sub-Saharan Africa.

So in the end, I expect he'll pout and fuss over the inner cities and pour money down them that won't really be missed and concentrate on making the White House the most eco-friendly, diverse place ever and then be escorted out after four incompetent years with two-thirds of HUD under indictment.

I doubt McCain will be alive long enough to get anything done.  And once old John shuffles off, then-President Joe Lieberman won't have any juice.

Should be interesting.

The State has suddenly and quietly gone mad. It is talking nonsense; and it can’t stop. —G.K. Chesterton

Obama is hype. I wouldn't worry. I just feel sorry for all those sentimental leftists who will be tearing up when their Christ turns out to be just another politician.
Drag not your strength from government, but from the voices they abuse.
