I've been trying to find a good study or article that refutes the socialist theory that we need the government to steal more money from individuals to give to other individuals for their health care. I've been reading some pretty good stuff but nothing that comes close to a comprehensive refutation of Michael Moore's push for British-like socialized medicine. Anyone have an good suggestions?

"Try to imagine a regulation of labor imposed by force that is not a violation of liberty; a transfer of wealth imposed by force that is not a violation of property. If you cannot reconcile these contradictions, then you must conclude that the law cannot organize labor and industry without organizing injustice." — from The Law
There is a good book on the British Welfare state and the National Health Service (commonly referred to as the NHS) called, "The Welfare State we're in" by James Bartholomew.
