Do they ever post here, or do they not bother discussing things with regular folk?
I remember asking lew rockwell if he ever considered building a forum for his website.....he said it would cost too much.....
thats before I found this place....I wish he would have just told me he already had one here....either way...I'm glad I found this place and very thankful to all those involved who built this place.
Well, Lew is the head of LvMI and Jeffrey Tucker is the webmaster of Mises.org/
You can write to the various authors of LRC, but bear in mind, many of the articles are syndicated, and nearly everyone writing has a day job and a family, so they don't spend their time jawing with the peanut gallery.
I have written to several LRC bloggers and they have replied. If you write, be polite, gracious and succinct.

limitgov: Do they ever post here, or do they not bother discussing things with regular folk?
I (as is evident from this post) post here from time to time, but I can't say I'm a regular participant here. That's not a statement about these forums, it's just that I don't tend to be good at keeping up with forums. Basically, I skip any post that's already more than a page, because I don't want to have to read several pages of back and forth (which at some point will degenerate into name calling) in order to understand the thread enough to respond. Plus, I find that my blood pressure falls when I stay away from mailing lists and internet forums.
When I worked at a desk, I used to quickly and lengthily respond to everyone who wrote to me about my columns. When I start my new job, I'll still have pretty significant office hours, so I expect I'll be able to do that again. I don't know about other writers, but I really do enjoy answering almost all my emails. The ratio of good letters (including honest disagreement) to annoyance is quite good.
I don't know if they post here, but if you want to talk with them, they seem very reachable via email. I've talked with at least 2 of the contributors about their posts.
