The Theme of My Dissertation is Good Explanation
Academics might prefer that I call this my "Topic" or "Problem" but it is that and more.
If my dissertation is successful I hope to have improved our ability to provide explanations -- and to recognize good explanations when we have them.
And to understand what a good explanation is and what it is not.

"Good explanation" isn't just a topic or a problem, it's a direct, a goal and perhapds even a destination -- one I hope to help people travel.
