It's really kind of funny on an tragic scale. Here in Germany most newspapers declare the election campaigns as the fight between free capitalism and the european way. I let you figure out yourself whom they accredit with what role.

This is so far from the truth that it really hurts. Neither of the candidates is for free markets. They are both mercantilists. Hardly a real difference. Were there really any discussion about free markets? Hardly they both want to "steer" the economy. But well you probably got it markets would not even recognized if they'd bit the reporters.

The US suffers even more than nearly any other state under debts for everything. This was hardly a theme in the compaings. Tax reductions should '"do" it. Well Romney had not done of said anything against the abolishment of civil rights. Have you heard him say: I will close Guantanamo? No I guess he's thinking how he might that less rights in US own prisons

Has anyone even mentioned when the stop the undeclared wars on everyone? No. So in fact the press is not just a little wrong, they are so wrong that they are worthless. But well that's no really anything new, isn't it?

What to do?

well you US-citizens are to be regretted. Well it's not that you are alone with it. We Germans have to suffer at least as much as you. So you can vote in November? Well, that's at least something, but you do not have choice. Well that's the sad but true story. Obama does not care about you constitution and your bureaucrats and military has taken over.

The think which never should have happened is established. Human rights do not count any more. Every visitor is a suspect, one can not think why this could happen. And still neither Obama nor Romney will do anything about it.

Well sometimes the military has one good thing. Clear workds and it seems the words for your situation are fubar. But you still can fight for your civil rights. And it's time to write/talk to your delegate. And you can ask him not to vote for either of the two. It will not do but you still can do that.

The other thing you can do is resist wherever you can. You still can write and IMHO you should do the same as any German. Try to support this kind of state as less as possible. Find ways to keep your money with you. Start working for the initiative: "End the Fed" That will help.

I know it's not really anything we can change at once (at least it could be done) but it's worth working for it... You never will regain your freedom with a FED, such big military and so many public "servants".

Oh great you US-Americans have the choice Romney or Obama.

I just wonder where the choice is. Big money, big government, big new debts,big new military expenses, big new lies and last but not least civil rights abolishments in the name of "fighting terrorism". I has sympathies to you not too far back, but I think this has vanished like snow in sun.

I guess you simply lost how freedom is written and how it tastes. So be it, get you way and do not cry if you get poorer by the day.

Bernanke reload and fire again. You US-Americans are to stupid to see that money as debt is the disease not the cure.

For those not wanting to vote for either of this "politicians", good luck. To all the others go to the socialists heaven (but you will not be a functionary, just a small negligtible particle) . Bear all the poverty you wish upon others.
